Refund Policy

Last updated September 20, 2026

Simple version: cancel any time in Settings, and first-time subscribers can get a full refund within 14 days of their first payment.

1. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel a paid plan (Basic, Pro Tutor or Agency Suite) at any time from Settings → Billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further charges are taken.

After the paid period ends, your workspace returns to the free trial tier. Your student data is retained under the Student Data & Retention Policy, and you can export or delete it at any time.

2. 14-day first-purchase refund

If this is your first paid subscription with us and you are not satisfied, email billing@siloseclabs.com within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund that first payment in full — no questions asked.

Refunds are issued by Paddle, our merchant of record, back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, the credit typically appears within 5–10 business days.

3. Renewals

Monthly renewals are generally not refundable for time already used, because the service remains available for the full paid period. If you believe a renewal was charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will review it promptly.

4. Failed payments and plan changes

If a renewal payment fails, we notify the workspace owner by email and Paddle retries the payment automatically. If the retries fail, the subscription is paused and the workspace returns to the free trial tier — your data is never deleted because of a failed payment.

Upgrading takes effect immediately and is charged at the new plan's price. Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal.

5. How to request a refund

Email billing@siloseclabs.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Refund request” and the date of the charge. We respond within 3 business days.

You can also use the “Support” link on your Paddle receipt. Disputes filed with your bank before contacting us slow everything down — reach out first and we will make it right.

6. Who processes your payment

All payments and refunds are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record. Your card statement shows a Paddle charge. Card details never touch RemedyHub servers.
